Working for Nothing

When my boys and student clients ask me how they can find a job they will really like, during a time when businesses are cutting back, I tell them “Work for nothing.  If you’re as good as you think you are, the situation will only be temporary.”

While you’re building your resume’ you have nothing to lose and everything to gain. An opportunity at a top-flight company is invaluable.

  • You’ll find out firsthand if you’ve chosen the right business.
  • You’ll learn from the best.
  • You’ll make contacts that could pay off years later.

Nothing worthwhile comes easily.

Work, continuous work and hard work,

is the only way to accomplish results that last.  ~ Hamilton Holt
