There is so much potential for success with a good team, but why do most people stand alone?
- Ego Philanthropist Andrew Carnegie declared, “It marks a big step in your development when you come to realize that other people can help you do a better job than you could do alone.” There is no superman or superwoman.
- Insecurity An insecure leader either wants to maintain control over everything, or they fear being replaced by someone more capable.
- Unsophisticated They lack experience and underestimate the difficulty of projects and decide to proceed alone. Over time this type of person usually learns, but some times by the time they figure out they can’t achieve their goals alone it’s too late.
- Temperament Some people just don’t like working with other people even when facing challenges it never occurs to them to seek help.
“Individual commitment to a group effort — that is what makes a team work, a company work, a society work, a civilization work.” ~ Vince Lombardi
